struct4u.com uses no advertising cookies. We store what the site needs to work and the choices you make, and we count visits with Google Analytics only if you accept statistics cookies.

On your first visit, our server may set one cookie of our own, s4u_lang, with the language that fits the country you visit from. Our other cookies wait until you make a choice. If you accept statistics, Google Analytics sets two cookies to count visits; if you decline, nothing from Google loads. Your account uses the same cookie for its language, and keeps you signed in with storage that is cleared when you close the tab. Our security provider may set a cookie to tell people from automated traffic.

Stored in your browser
Besides cookies, the site keeps a few items in your browser’s own storage. The same rules apply to them, so they are listed here too.

To check that your browser allows this storage, the account writes a test item and removes it at once.
Apart from Google Analytics, each of these makes the site work or remembers a choice you made. None is used for advertising.
Payments, videos and other sites
When you pay, you do so on Mollie’s payment page, which uses its own cookies under Mollie’s policy.
The demonstration videos of the Word add-in come from struct4u.com and store nothing. The project videos come from YouTube: they load only when you press play, through youtube-nocookie.com, and from then on YouTube may store data in your browser under Google’s privacy policy.
Links to the forum, YouTube and LinkedIn take you to those sites, which set their own cookies.
Changing your choice
Change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, we remove the Google Analytics cookies. You can also see and delete cookies and stored site data in your browser’s settings; that signs you out of your account and forgets your language and VAT choices.
