Where each one fits.

  • BIM

Export the analysis model to IFC, go to and from Tekla Structures, or send it through Speckle into Revit. The Tekla export works through an XML tool made by Tekniq Solution.

  • Connections

Send the geometry and every ULS force from XFEM4U to IDEA StatiCa, and design the connections there.

  • Drawings

Start from a DXF underlay, and hand the reinforcement of a beam grid to the draughtsman as DXF.

  • Tables

Edit hundreds of nodes, beams or loads in Excel and read them back into the model.

3Scripting

The example files are published by Struct4U on GitHub.

Models from code.

Struct4U.py, our Python library, builds XFEM4U models from a script, with a manual and examples; XFrame2D takes parametric input from Python too. Underneath, DirectCommands lets Excel or Python open XFEM4U and XFrame2D with a model. The XFEM4U manual also has a complete example with the open-source BuildingPy library.

Try it with your own model.
