The new column base plate program - XColumnBase has been released and is available to you from now on.
Column base plates occur in almost every steel structure. XColumnBase offers the structural engineer a tool for day-to-day practice for designing and calculating common column base plate connections. A practical approach has been chosen, in which the calculation rules used are fully in line with CUR/BmS report 10 (Column base plate connections), including correction sheets. The design check of the welded connection between the column base and the base plate according to NEN-EN 1993-1-1 has been added.
