Plates in XFrame3d

In the past months we have worked hard on the further development of our 3D framework program XFrame3d. Much has been improved but the most important extension is that it is now also possible to calculate plates.

It is an important milestone. Why? Because it forms the basis for many more future applications and extensions. Think for example of the reinforcement module for concrete floors and walls, but also detailed calculations of a steel connection.

In this release it is possible to calculate stresses and forces in a plate. You can calculate floors, walls, steel profiles, timber profiles and a concrete beam grid foundation on piles in one model, including Eurocode tests.

We have also optimized our calculation engine (the solver) for analysis. It has become faster and large models (of more than 100,000 elements) can be calculated.

In release notes you will find an overview of all changes.
