Next week, on Friday 24 May, it is that time again! The annual open day of Struct4U. The opportunity to meet each other in person, share knowledge and catch up.
As a structural engineer you are always busy meeting deadlines and short of time. That is why we start on Friday at 14:45. Walk-in is from 14:15. The programme runs until 17:15. After that there are drinks with tasty snacks and networking until 19:00.
The programme is as follows:
- Tjietze Kampen: Determining the mesh size for plates in steel and concrete.
- Professor Johan Blaauwendraad: Practical points of attention when reinforcing slabs and in-plane loaded plates.
- Rob Baaij: New functionality in the Struct4U Engineering Tools 2025. Including the new solver, which is up to 10x faster!
- Maarten Vroegindeweij: Parametric design of structures in Python and Excel with Speckle. Exchange with Revit and IFC. Practical examples!
The speakers are, respectively, FEM specialist, senior software engineer, professor emeritus, managing director and computational design specialist.
Where?
Van der Valk Hotel Houten, Hoofdveste 25, 3992 DH Houten.
Who is it for?
