We offer you the following trainings:
1. Basic Training XFEM4U
This training has been given several times before and is being repeated at the request of many customers.
We notice that there is a clear need for instruction in our 3D program XFEM4U. And of course we understand that. With XFEM4U you can now calculate so much more. Think, for example, of a calculation of 3D frames in steel and/or timber, concrete beam grids, a shallow foundation slab, point-supported slabs, walls, and so on. Whether or not combined in one model. But you do have to learn to work with XFEM4U and become skilled in it.
2. Parametric design in XFrame2D and XFEM4U
We also notice that there is a lot of interest in parametric input. Using Excel you can quickly generate an input for XFrame2D or XFEM4U. And with Python you can do so much more. It is truly amazing how simple and at the same time powerful this is.
We teach you all of it quickly by giving online trainings. The trainings are given via Microsoft Teams and are interactive. That is why we want to limit the group size to about 6 participants per training.
The next trainings "1. Basic Training XFEM4U" are scheduled for:
- Friday afternoon 21 February. From 13.00 – 17.00.
- Wednesday morning 25 February. From 09.00 – 13.00

1. Basic Training XFEM4U
This training is a basic course for XFEM4U. You learn the basic skills to be able to enter a model quickly and efficiently. This training is given online via Microsoft Teams. The training is interactive. That means that after watching the demonstration you carry out the same actions yourself on your own computer. Depending on the assignment you get a few minutes for this. After that you can of course share your experience with us and your fellow participants. We teach you to recognise possible pitfalls and also to solve them. The skills you quickly learn in this way can of course be put to use directly in your daily work. We also tell you more about the computational background of XFEM4U.
This online training is a good investment in yourself and in your company. An investment that you also earn back very quickly.

2. Parametric design in XFrame2D and XFEM4U
In this training we teach you how to easily and quickly parametrise, from Excel, an input that you often have to make. Most structural engineers are of course already very skilled in the use of Excel. With this functionality you can optimise your work even more.
And if you want to go even further, you use the programming language Python. With it you can parametrise, but also generate, the wildest structures. Perhaps still a little hesitant? That is really not necessary. We teach you quickly. You will be amazed at what you can do with it. Parametrising. But also generating a complicated part of your structure. It is all possible. The training is interactive. That means that after watching the demonstration you carry out the same actions yourself on your own computer. Depending on the assignment you get a few minutes for this.
