Apologies for this inconvenience.
XFrame2D 2025.3 download release notes
The most important new features:
1. New Intersections / Extend / Divide
When selecting beams you can right click
- Determine intersection points of beams, determine the intersection point.
- Extend beams, have the intersection point determined and the beams extended.
- Divide beam, easily divide your selected beams into equal beam parts.
How does it work? Watch this demo.
2. Extended: Construction parametrically using Microsoft Excel
It is possible to create a construction parametrically using Microsoft Excel. You can define your own parameters in Excel. From Excel an XML is generated that is also directly loaded into XFrame2D. So you see the result immediately and you can start calculating that construction right away. A number of components have now been added to the XML file, further extending the link with Excel and Python.
How to do that?
We are organizing a training on this topic Parametric Design with Excel and Python on Thursday, July 4. In the next newsletter you will read more about this and also how to sign up.
