The most important new features:
1. New New solver
To determine the analysis, a large number of equations must be solved. The stiffness matrix of the structure with the load matrix must be solved a large number of times, especially in the geometrically nonlinear calculation.
A completely new solver has now been implemented that solves that stiffness matrix at lightning speed. This greatly reduces the total calculation time especially for large models.
2. New Chessboard loading
It is possible to perform calculations for live loads using a chessboard loading pattern. The various loading scenarios (load cases and combinations) are generated automatically. (help desk #3160, #829, #2748)
3. Improvement Lateral stability
The lateral stability check has been improved and refined in a number of ways.
For example, the correction factor kc, as specified in Article 6.3.2.3, Table 6.6, is now determined using the formula by Serna et al. This method is not only more generic but also more accurate.
4. Improvement Draw a beam perpendicular
In XFrame2D there is also snapping to the point of perpendicularity. The bullet node is drawn marked and the status bar shows that you connect perpendicular to the beam. This allows you to draw beams perpendicular to other beams. (help desk #3207)
