With the implementation of a new solver, we have taken an important step toward further improving XFrame2D. However, integrating a new computational core is a highly complex process, in which many components of the software work closely together.
Due to a programming error, the calculation of tension and compression beams was no longer performed correctly in certain situations. Despite our extensive testing procedures, this error unfortunately went unnoticed and was therefore not detected by us earlier.
As soon as we became aware of this issue, we immediately investigated it and developed a solution. The error has since been fixed and made available via an update.
